Purpose

Responsibilities

1. Brand Asset Management: Maintaining a consistent, corporate, unique identity with the use of University colors, brand elements such as the logo and their placements, etc
2. Coordinate with other university web unit managers to ensure brand consistence e.g. E-learning, Library site, Research IDR site, etc
3. Promotional content graphics design (flyers, booklets, cards etc)
4. Support in multimedia broadcast of University events (graduation, public lectures, conferences etc)
5. Support the University academic units in sourcing or creating multimedia content for promotion, communication and other purposes.
6. Coordination with other specialists e.g web administrator in the website graphics design and improvement.
7. Development of the marketing tactical plans and execution tactics for the department
8. Developing the department’s marketing campaigns
9. Developing the university digital marketing plans and coordinating the campaigns with the senior communications officer.
10. Conducting market intelligence and surveys to inform policy.
11. Designing of the University newsletter and contributing content to it.
12. Multimedia content development for the website and other platforms (video & audio visual), Videos, etc
13. Routinely monitor uploads on the University website and advise the superiors

Requirements

i. Must have Masters in either Marketing, Business Administration (Marketing specialization) or related Branding studies.
ii. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing specialization or related Branding studies is essential.
iii. Demonstrated experience of having worked in an academic institution or dynamic marketing environment.
iv. High event management skills
v. A demonstrated understanding of the digital marketing environment
vi. Proven skills in timely delivery on assigned duties.
vii. Experience in tactical operation policy and strategy
viii. Should have good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
